Faces of Haiti has stiked again. This time in Beijing, the Capital city of the People’s Republic of China.
Samuel Dameus this haitian Photographer and Expert in Communications has one more time successfully take Haiti far beyond its borders with his Photo exhibit series Faces Of Haiti.
After organizing this event succesfully in Miami, Washington D.C, Paris, Montreal and Port-au-prince, On Monday, March 20th, 2017 Samuel Dameus has brought his collection of photos in Beijing, China. The special event has been a courtesy of the Bureau of Commercial Development of a Haiti in China and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
This haitian pride is surely facing difficulties like all those who understand the need of sharing Haiti to the rest of the world, and more importantly, who are willing to keep pushing against all situations with a positivism.
The event was witnessed by many important personnalities like the Permanent Representative of Haiti Mr. Ralph Latortue, the Vice President of the chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and other Ambassadors and Heads of Organizations Accredited in the People’s Republic of China.
In his speech, The the artist explain why he wants to keep this exhibition going. He said:“This series of Photo Expo is also a call to Haitians and all the wonderful friends of Haiti to continue to share our heritage, culture, beauty and all the aspects that makes up the Haiti we all know and love. ”
“Haiti is much more than natural disaster, poverty and political instability, the proof is in the images I bring to you with FacesOfHaiti.”
At the end of his speech, Mr. Dameus send a personal message to all haitians to join him in this campaign dedicated to promote HAITI positively to the world.”
The Haitian Students Association in China was also represented at the event by its president Ingenieur Walter Chevry. Samuel shared his determination to bring this Event to a higher level.
